In our three month mentorship program, YEC students are paired with experienced young riders along with having access to top training. With the support from a mentor, students are able to improve their riding skill, expand their network, learn about horsemanship, and gain confidence.
The program is specialized for each individual’s needs.
The YEC offers:
With guidance and support, the YEC not only produces talented riders, but better horsemen and horsewomen.
Have a desire to travel and compete at horse shows?
Do you want to take your riding career to the next level?
Need a boost of confidence?
Students, ages 8-16, have access to riding lessons from top trainers and experienced young riders whose goal is to help equestrians excel to be the best they can be. We're looking for riders who desire to compete at the highest level in the equitation, hunters, and/or jumpers. Incoming student's are expected to have at least one year of riding background and experience.
YEC students represent a diverse group, both of ethnic and financial backgrounds. It is important to us that we recognize the underrepresented equestrian athletes. We make sure that students of our program are supported and empowered in the equestrian community.
Mentors take on a leadership position as they guide YEC students to success. By sharing their knowledge, experience, and support to younger generations, YEC mentors play important role models.
As a mentor, their role is to:
Not only do experienced young riders asses our students to the best of their ability, they also support our cause of empowering underrepresented riders. YEC mentors have a desire to teach and to make a difference in the equestrian community.
